  These boots had been through hell. A year and a half of manure, swing dancing, and wet motorcycle rides. They even had a quarter sized hole in each and needed to be repaired. I went to Ira’s because I had heard they were the best and after seeing the quality and quickness of their work I can confirm that. These boots look better than brand new and feel as comfortable as the day I dropped them off. I will be coming back to Ira’s whenever I need some more amazing leather work done. Thank you!

  FANTASTIC WORK! I brought my favorite pair of light brown shoes to be reconditioned here, and now after Ira and Sons' work, I get 3x the compliments I used to get on them. Not kidding.
  I also had a zipper replaced on my expensive leather motorcycle jacket here. That's a pricey repair anywhere you go, but it was $35 cheaper than I was quoted elsewhere. Needed boots stretched, he managed expectations down but said he would do his best, said it would be $35 thought expensive but would have to wait a week due to move, all good for me. Then asked for payment ahead of any work, last straw, unacceptable! I'm entrusting to him the collateral of my new harley boots and have to pay him in advance! Usually means history of unresolved customer conflicts and satisfaction! … More Took boots and walked out. Found a boot stretcher on Amazon and simple instructions on YouTube to do it. Saved $$ by his refusal. Thanks for same day response and publishing my medical foot issue. btw, 3 stars meant to be at best neutral. What reputable business demands payment in full? few that manage to stay in business, I'm sure your predecessor did not require payment in advance for 40 years. Some companies may ask for a deposit, when some value is delivered, eg a signed contract with a deposit or materials delivered for a construction service. Anyway, your business, Brian! free country for you and for me to leave and spend money where I feel comfortable. Happy Day

  I am still in shock with how amazing and new they look. I have never had to take shoes to get maintained or reconditioned before and took the time to research and came across Ira and Son Shore Repair.
  I dropped them off and was immediately impressed by their professionalism, knowledge, and customer service. Brain was extremely helpful and told me exactly what needed to be done and what things I should consider having done later down the line (heel reconditioning). He told me that they would be done … More likely by Friday, however to my surprise they were done the very next day! I just picked them up and I was blown away by how beautiful they look.
  It is no wonder why they have been in business for as long as they have been. I will absolutely be coming back in the future and HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone in need of their services!
